Research Assistants
Undergraduate & Graduate
Dr. Karbeah is interested in working with detail-oriented undergraduate and graduate students and offers a variety of paid and unpaid employment opportunities to individuals interested in: structural racism, health equity, adolescent health, mental health, and health services research. Baed on interest and skills, students will have the opportunity to be involved in all stages of the research process: literature review, participant recruitment/data collection, data analysis, manuscript write-up. If publishable findings emerge from projects, students will—based on prior agreements and their level of input—have their name on any resulting conference presentations or journal papers. Weekly research lab meetings will be held throughout the semester to discuss progress, as well as research, academic, and career goals. Prospective applicants should free to reach out to Dr. Karbeah, karbe001@umn.edu and state that they are interested in joining the research team in the subject of their email.
